A Collaboration of Expertise and Impact
The 3Roots Home is the product of a dynamic partnership between leading organizations committed to equity and community-driven development:

A cooperative of 9 Black women developers providing expert oversight, ensuring high-quality execution, and championing community-focused real estate solutions.

A non-profit with two decades of impact in workforce development, equipping formerly incarcerated individuals and marginalized job seekers with hands-on training in modular home finishing and rehabilitation.

A leader in affordable housing and project financing, ensuring fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability. Heron acquired this property after it remained in Prince George’s County Housing Authority’s inventory since 1993.
